Clementina Series: Milla Patricio
Half Portuguese and half Panamanian, Milla is a Clementina that appreciates art, fashion and emerging businesses. After discovering our brand through a gift, she fell in love with our concept and since then has celebrated our tropical designs worldwide. We invited Milla to share a bit about herself and her #Clemente experience.

Tell us a bit about yourself! Where are you from, where are you based? What are you passionate about? Where do you find inspiration?
I was born in Brazil, but my mom is from Panama and my dad is from Portugal. I am currently living in Chicago for school, but my home is in Connecticut. I am very passionate about social justice, art and fashion. I find inspiration in art museums or on social media.
Describe your fashion taste and style!
My fashion taste is very versatile, but I would mostly describe it as feminine, classy and timeless. I love wearing pieces that highlight my femininity and that make me feel elegant. I’d definitely rather be overdressed than underdressed in any scenario.
How did you discover Clemente? What inspired you to wear our pieces?
I discovered Clemente when my cousin gifted me one of your pañuelos for Christmas! I love to support small businesses and the fact that yours draws inspiration from Panama made me love it even more.
Share a bit about your experience with Clemente! How do you feel when you style our pañuelos? What is your go-to way to style your piece?
I love wearing my pañuelos because I can style them differently each time and make a completely new outfit. I always get compliments when I wear one! My go-to way to style my pañuelos is the way the top is styled in the picture above.
What does your dream Clemente piece look like?
My dream piece is one that already exists. I wasn’t able to get my hands on the Fauna Mariposa pañuelo from the La Panameña collection before it sold out. It’s so gorgeous and I love how the yellow and blue look together.
How do you inspire others to join the Clemente circle?
Anytime I get compliments on my pañuelo I take the opportunity to show off the Clemente instagram page! Clemente is one of my favorite small businesses and I think more people need to know about it.
